Shakespeare, we must remember, was especially fluent in the idiom and cliché of late Tudor English, as were his audiences.  Regardless of the man’s great genius, it does not detract from his overall contribution to our heritage to believe many of these examples were not necessarily original to Master Shakespeare.

now this is legitimate shit you can attribute to good ole Billy Shakes. the man definitely had a way with phrases.
